Gymnastics 

Strength, coordination, flexibility, agility, and fun are emphasized in all of our recreational classes, in order to accelerate progress and increase self-confidence through personal accomplishment.

Beginner

AGES: 6+

CLASS LENGTH: 60 minutes

COST: $80/month

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

Beginner athletes will begin learning progressions for all fundamental gymnastics skills while also building strength, increasing flexibility, developing self-confidence, and having fun! Gymnasts will learn to stick a landing on vault; build strength on the bars; walk, jump, and turn on the balance beam; and roll and cartwheel across floor.

Intermediate

AGES: 6+

CLASS LENGTH: 60 minutes

COST: $80/month

PREREQUISITE: Beginner or equivalent coach’s evaluation

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

Intermediate  athletes will build on progressions learned in the prior level and continue to develop the strength and flexibility needed to perform key progressions which include the pullover, back hip circle, and glides on bars, dive forward roll vault, independent cartwheels and handstands as well as assisted backbend kick-overs on floor, and beam work such as intermediate walks, kicks, jumps, levers, handstands, and cartwheels.​

Experienced

AGES: 6+

CLASS LENGTH: 60 minutes

COST: $80/month

PREREQUISITE: Intermediate or equivalent coach’s evaluation

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

 Experienced athletes focus on refining forms and shapes by adding a higher level of conditioning & strength and developing more flexibility. This is excellent preparation for competitive gymnastics. Athletes will continue to work towards mastery of the foundational skills that are the basis for all upper level gymnastics, as well as begin learning some of those upper level skills.

Advanced

AGES: 6+

CLASS LENGTH: 80 minutes

COST: $85/month

PREREQUISITE: Advanced or equivalent coach’s evaluation

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

Advanced athletes focus on perfecting forms and shapes by adding a higher level of conditioning & strength and developing more flexibility. This is excellent preparation for competitive gymnastics. Athletes will continue to work towards mastery of the foundational skills that are the basis for all upper level gymnastics, as well as begin learning some of those upper level skills.

What should my child wear?

A leotard is the safest attire for a coach spotting a gymnast. Shirt and shorts may be worn but shirt must be either snug fitting or tucked in. Clothing with zippers or buckles are not allowed, due to safety reasons. Long hair must be pulled back. No jewelry please.
